Quiz result · What kind of AI builder are you?

The Marathoner

Steady work, day after day. The weekly limit is your finish line.

What this says about you

You rarely blow through a session in one go. Instead you show up every day, a few solid hours at a time, and by Thursday or Friday the weekly bar is doing the talking. Session windows keep resetting, but once the weekly allowance is gone, only your weekly reset brings it back.

That makes you a planner’s builder: the most useful number for you isn’t the five-hour one, it’s where the weekly bar sits mid-week and when your fixed weekly reset arrives.

Your plan, honestly

Pro is fine if you usually finish the week with room. If the weekly limit stops you before your reset most weeks, Max 5x is the natural next step, and Anthropic suggests Max 20x if you still hit limits consistently on 5x. For the occasional heavy week, usage credits are cheaper than upgrading.

This is our rule of thumb, not official advice, and it doesn’t promise a quota: neither Anthropic nor OpenAI publishes a fixed number of messages. See Claude Max vs Pro for the details.

Two tips that fit

  1. Check the weekly bar on Wednesday. /usage and Settings → Usage on claude.ai show both windows and your next weekly reset. If you’re past the halfway mark by midweek, save the big tasks for after the reset.
  2. Remember chat counts too. Anthropic says limits are shared across Claude and Claude Code. A long research afternoon on claude.ai comes out of the same weekly allowance as your terminal.

Your Quotchi feature: The weekly view and plan coach

Quotchi Free keeps your Weekly window and its reset time in the menu bar. Quotchi Pro adds saved local history and a weekly plan coach, so you can see whether this week is normal or a spike.
