Install and relaunch. When a new version is ready, click Install. Quotchi downloads it, checks its signature, replaces itself and restarts in a few seconds. No more dragging a DMG.
Or let it update itself. Turn on “Install updates automatically” in Settings → Updates and Quotchi installs new versions while you’re away. It’s off unless you turn it on.
Coming from 0.7.3 or earlier? Download this version once; after that, updates install from inside the app.

Import history from the Claude app. Turn it on and History fills with your past session and weekly levels, chats included, from a file the Claude app already keeps. No permission needed, and you can remove it anytime.
Fixes
History keeps saving with the Claude app reader on. Readings from the Claude app’s Usage page could pause History. They now save like any other reading.
Version 0.7.2Included in 0.7.3
Never miss an update.
Free
A quiet heads-up when a new version is ready. One small line in the panel with a Download button. Hide it with ✕ and it stays hidden until the next version.
Daily update check, on by default. Quotchi only asks quotchi.com which version is latest; no usage, account or device details are sent. Turn it off anytime in Settings → Updates.
Version 0.7.1Included in 0.7.2
Claude, connected.
Free
Works with the Claude app too. Signed in only to the Claude desktop app? Turn on one switch and Quotchi reads your session and weekly limits from its Settings → Usage page while the page is open. It never clicks, types or reads your chats.
Clearer Claude sign-in. Quotchi says exactly what’s missing (Claude Code not installed, signed out, or no limits yet) and signs Claude Code in with one click.
Update checks. Quotchi checks a signed update feed and tells you when a new version is ready.
Under the hood
One steady window. Now, Plan, History and Stats open in the same place and size every time.
Calmer onboarding. The text no longer shifts while the sloth breathes.
Version 0.7.0Included in 0.7.1

Reset times you can plan around. “Back Mon 12:17 PM · in 3d 0h”, in the panel, menu bar, widgets and notifications.
Which tool has room. When one limit is used up, Quotchi tells you which tool still has room. Check capacity (⌘K) answers in one line.
“Notify me when it’s back.” One tap. Plus an “At this pace” run-out estimate, and a little celebration when a limit comes back.
Your menu bar, your way. A ring, two tools at once, or the reset time, plus a large widget.
Your own warning levels. Custom alert thresholds are now Free.
Setup check. Finds each tool, checks the sign-in and gives you one command to fix what’s missing.
In your terminal. Optional Claude Code status line, the quotchi command (can-i, wait), a ⌃⌥Q shortcut, quotchi:// links and Shortcuts.
Weekly API-value estimate and a basic “My week with AI” card.
Pro
Know which session needs you. See which Claude Code session is waiting, which one the limit paused, and when you can resume.
Watch more than one account. Read-only, each with its own history.
Your API value per project, a weekly plan coach, and card themes for “My week with AI”.
Under the hood
Sturdier connections. Keeps working across Claude Code and Codex updates, and with npm, nvm, Volta and Bun installs. The optional Gemini app reader is stricter and fails safely.
Steadier readings and alerts. No more brief “stale” flicker; alerts survive sleep and going offline.
Lighter history storage that keeps a full 30 days.
